Mommy Survey!

I found this mommy survey on the blog's of some old friends from Firehouse. It was so much fun to read how their little ones came into the world that I just had to share mine. I encourage all you moms out there to do the same (even if your baby is 2 or 3 years old) Grady one day old and my round face!
Logan had the biggest grin on his face even at 1:00 in the morning.

3. Birthday? November 10, 2007
4. Time of birth? 1:03 am
5. How long did labor last? 6 hours. The doctor broke my water and after about an hour and a half I was ready for that epidural! Hats off to all thouse who have gone through labor without one I couldn't do it and pray I will never have to!
6. Who was in the room when baby was born? Logan, who almost didn't make it, because he got in an accident on the freeway while coming to the hospital. Ok it wasn't that close, luckily he wasn't hurt or going too fast. It was just a fender bender, but him not being there for the first hour and a half only added to the pain of contractions. My mom, before being there the thought of my mom being in the room with me was weird, but I am sure glad she was and we even let her cut the cord! Oh yeah and the Doc and who knows how many nurses?
7. How long did you push? 3 hours, they don't train you on how to push so half the time I think I was just holding my breath.
8. Weight? 7 pounds 3 ounces
9. Length? 19 inches
10. Any hair? A little bit of brown on top, but more in the back. We were way surprised that he didn't come out with a full head of dark brown hair like his dad!
11. Who does baby look like? More like me then Logan, but he has his dad's furrowed brow when he's upset.
12. Be honest...how much weight did you gain while pregnant? Most people don't believe me but 50 pounds! It was from being so swollen, It all came off within 2 weeks.
13. Was the baby early or late? Four days early
14. Who drove you home from the hospital? Logan
15. How many baby showers did you have? One at my sister-in-law's house in Monroe and one at my friend's house in Payson.
16. When did baby start sleeping through the night? Honestly 2 months! I was so shocked I had to go check on him to make sure he was ok. He wakes up every once in a while, but I give him his bink and he goes back to bed.
17. Did you breastfeed? Yes, and hope to for a while.
18. Who takes care of your baby/kids the most? I do, but I started back at work a few weeks ago. I go in four days a week for five hours. Our friend Jen watches him on three of the days, and he gets to be with his daddy on Fridays.
19. When do you want to have another one? If I could I would pop one out right now! I want to have a bazillion! Ok but realistically not for a few years.
20. How did you pick the name? We liked Payson but that was too close to his cousin Kayson who is ten months older thatn him so Logan got Grady from a baseball player on the Indian's Grady Sizemore. It was between that and Easton. It took a little while, but we decided on Grady and it fits him so well.
21. How did you know when it was time to go to the hospital? I went in for a Dr's appointment and my protein levels were high she told me to do a urine test and go to the hospital the next day to be monitered. After an hour and a half they told me my blood pressure was too high and broke my water. I ended having toxiema, it was weird that it came on so quickly just at the end.
22. Anyone spend the night with you the first night home? My mom, and Logan.
23. Did you cry the first time you held your baby? Not right away I think I was in shockand way tired.
24. Where was the baby born? American Fork, Ut.
25. Did you video tape the birth? Not the live birth, but right after and Logan had a hard time videoing and watching all at the same time so there are a few bad shots of the Dr. finishing up down there. Most of it is blurred out by the bright light, but it's not anything I want to post on my blog!
