Last Minute Weekend Plans and Happy Fathers Day

Here is the story of my weekend. I was on my way out the door from work on Friday, planning to work Saturday and stay at home the rest of the weekend. Long story short a lady I work with said she would work for me on Saturday if I wanted to go to my mom's family reunion. The reasons why I wasn't planning to go were that it was in Jacob's Lake which is 30 minutes south of Kanab. I thought it was too far and I didn't want to deal with Grady and camp out. Well my mom had a hotel/cabin rented and said I could jump in with them. We got it all figured out and packed and on the way in 1/2 an hour. It was a long drive and Grady did pretty good the whole weekend. (except for getting tummy aches during the night, that continued through yesterday.) Thanks Mom, Dad and Parker for being so patient and letting us crash with you. Here are some pics of the fun. There are lots...This is my mom and her brother and sisters, one didn't make it so they improvised. My cousin Rusty and his wife JulieRusty's brother Todd and his wife Emilee, who is due next month, what a trooper. My sister, John and their girl Katelyn. Nieces and cousins.
My nephew Landon eating probably his bazillionth marshmellow.Everyone watching the annual horseshoe competition. I was dumb and didn't get any pictures of the action.Patiently waiting to for someone bust open the pinata.Grady thinks this is a snooze fest.Every year we have an auction to help pay for the camp ground the next year. Always fun and interesting to see how much $ things go for.
After being gone all weekend, Grady really missed his dad. It was a great end to his Father's Day spent at work. We are so grateful for the wonderful dad Grady has.
