The 4th of July

Here is my big long post telling not only about our Fourth of July, but all about what else has been going on. The fam waiting for the best parade ever! You can't beat the Koosh 10 minute parade, (and that is up the street and back). We thought about going to the Richfield parade, but the thought of 2+ hours in the heat with a 7 month old just didn't sound like fun.
My little family after the parade just enjoying the shade.
Grady's first Fourth of July and he slept through the parade and the fireworks. Oh well better luck next year.
My dad and my niece Jessica playing some of the relay races. He is a good sport and being in the Bishopric is usually the target of the water fight.
My sister and I watching the "chicken chase" they really did let the kids run after a rooster and the winner kept it. Now a days this may or maynot be legal. But is all in fun. Later that afternoon we went to Richfield for dinner with Logan's family, while waiting for the fireworks Grady played with Gradndma and Grandpa Bastian, and
Logan's cousin Tia, but
He really had fun trying to eat Uncle Cody's leg. Then, Dylan decided he wanted a taste.

I was able to get some good pictures of the fireworks even though I didn't know what I was doing.
The next day the boys had a fun time playing with Dylan's new birthday presents. His b-day party was on the 3rd, and sadly I didn't get pictures of my own, but it was good, I was able to take a bunch for Alexa with her camera. Grady was not sure he liked all the splashing by the two wild boys.
Dylan and Kason really get into it.
At first Kason wouldn't get in. He just kept dunking his head right into the water and coming back up with this silly look on his face.
Dylan couldn't get enough of the slide.
The boys love Grandma Stacy!
These next pictures I took just today and I had to add them on here. I made Grady some popsicles with his baby food, pears. He really liked it, but it was so cold he kept pulling faces. This is the only time I've seen him pull a face at food. He loves everything he eats.
And now what we've all been waiting for...
I finally got my new gun!
Yes, I as in me Ashley, not Logan.
This was suppose to be a Mother's day gift,
but it took forever to get here,
so we will call it a "whatever holiday is next" gift.
Here I am sporting, as usual, my scrubs, and the 2008 25th anniversary addition of the Remington model 7, 7mm-08.

Hopefully I'll bag a big one come October.

Hey family keep checking for new posts, I got some more pictures of baby Nadia from my mom, I would post them now, but this one is getting rediculously long. So probably this weekend sometime.

That is so awesome that you got a gun! Not many wives can say they have their own gun! Jim gave me one for Christmas a few years ago. It's so awesome knowing that I have my own!
The pict of you watching the parade infront of the town hall made me homesick! Tell Sarah Hi for me!

Oh man, what a fun fourth of July. Nolans sister just moved to Richfeld and really likes it there. Grady is starting to really show some personality I love the one of him eating the leg:-)

Ash....that gun looks good an you, just gotta find a good one come Oct. Don't get a better one than me though or my pride will be hurt....I'm not sure Logan's gonna be able to give that job at Sportman's up. If I were him I'd just keep going to school forever and keep that job..TRAIL K

Trail you can't be putting these bad ideas into Logan's head. If he works at Sportsmans forever we can't be neighbors again someday. We really miss you guys. And as long as my buck is as big as the last one, I'm good. Plus you always get a good one, and you have an advantage with being able to scout everyday. So maybe you should find one for me too!
